FAQ

How long are your sessions?

My sessions are usually 50 minutes in length. At times longer sessions for Couples or EMDR can be helpful.

How often do we meet?

Once we commit to working together, we usually meet once a week. If you're going through a really tough time, we can meet more frequently. As things get better we might meet less often.

How long will it take?

If things are going well, and you just need a little help to get through a rough time, therapy can be pretty brief. If you're struggling with some tougher issues and you want to get to a much better place, it might mean more sessions. You decide.

Do you have a sliding scale?

Yes. I try to make my services affordable to a wide range of people. Depending on my caseload, I sometimes have sliding scale slots available. This means I am willing to talk about a fee reduction if this is something you need.

Do you accept insurance?

Currently I am an out of network provider. I provide a summary of services which you may submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

Please review your health coverage plan to answer the following questions:

  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?
